Oggi sono state annunciate le nomination ai Golden Globes, l’ambito riconoscimento cinematografico e televisivo giunto all’82esima edizione. La cerimonia di premiazione si svolgerà a Los Angeles domenica 5 gennaio. L’evento sarà trasmesso in diretta streaming su Paramount+.
Quest’anno è presente anche il cinema italiano in varie categorie: Vermiglio di Maura Delpero, pellicola premiata alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia, figura tra i candidati per la statuetta del Miglior Film in lingua straniera. Dovrà vedersela con All We Imagine as Light, The Girl With The Needle, I’m Still Here, Il seme del fico sacro e soprattutto Emilia Pérez. Anche Luca Guadagnino è in corsa con la produzione italo-americana Challengers. Inoltre, Isabella Rossellini, nel cast del thriller tra le mura vaticane Conclave, è nominata tra le Migliori attrici non protagoniste.
Emilia Pérez, il musical francese acclamato a Cannes, conquista ben dieci candidature, sette per The Brutalist di Brady Corbet e sei per Conclave. La Palma d’Oro a Cannes Anora e il body horror The Substance ottengono cinque nomination, mentre Wicked, Challengers e A Real Pain si devono “accontentare” di quattro.
Tra le serie tv, incetta di candidature per le ultime stagioni di The Bear e Only Murders in the Building che confermano il loro dominio sul piccolo schermo. Anche Shōgun e The Day of the Jackal portano a casa parecchie nomination. Tra le miniserie in lizza per un premio ci sono The Penguin, Disclaimer e True Detective: Night Country.
